Budatoren
The old Tack brewery tower was converted into a production house for the performing arts in the late 20th century. By encasing the vertical section in a glass shell, in addition to retaining the original structure, the character of the tower has also been maximally preserved. The old silhouette remains visible behind the new skin. The Budatoren houses six studios for theatre and dance. It mainly facilitates residencies and creations by Passerelle, arts centre BUDA and third parties. Passerelle, a platform for young dance, manages the building in collaboration with the arts centre BUDA.
